Rambles and Expeditions
At least twice a year since 1974, Georgia Trust members have explored cities, towns, and counties around the state, discovering the historic places that make each place unique through our Rambles and Expeditions. These tours take “Ramblers” into places not normally open to the public, including lovely homes, rehabilitated industrial and commercial sites, historic landscapes, and projects-in-progress. Since our first venture to Oglethorpe County in 1974, the Trust has hosted over 100 Rambles and Expeditions!
Join us for our Spring Ramble in Atlanta on April 21-23. Bursting with beautiful homes on wooded streets and featuring fascinating history, Georgia’s capital is more than first meets the eye. Explore residential gems in Atlanta’s oldest neighborhoods and take behind-the-scenes tours of architectural landmarks. To celebrate the Georgia Trust’s 50th anniversary we are hosting additional special events, including an exclusive Ramble Preview Party and a Pre-Ramble Insider Tour. View more about all that’s in store for the Spring Ramble here.
And mark your calendar’s for this year’s Fall Ramble in Madison, October 13-15, 2023!
