Behind-the-Scenes Tour

This specialty tour provides guests with a behind-the-scenes look at areas of Hay House that are not accessible on the regular tour. Guests will have the opportunity to see the wine cellar, secret room, balcony, and attic. The spectacular 360-degree view of Macon from the widow’s walk is a must-see! This tour lasts approximately 2 hours.
There are many stairs in the house. Though the building is wheelchair accessible and has a small elevator, there are still many stairs involved on this tour. The house’s elevator only goes to the 3rd level. Behind-the-Scenes tours cover all seven levels, so dress comfortably!
Event ticket: $45 per person
Reservations with advanced payment are required. Registration is limited to 15 people maximum.

Christmas would not be complete without a tour of Macon’s premier historic mansion. Tour three levels of Hay House, a National Historic Landmark, and marvel at rooms elegantly decorated in the historic traditions of the house.
