Architecture of the Last Colony: Georgia’s Historic Places, 1733-2000

Edited by Mark C. McDonald

Editor and retired Georgia Trust President and CEO Mark C. McDonald is heading out on the road to present the Trust’s new book, Architecture of the Last Colony. Hear about Georgia’s most significant buildings, focusing on structures that showcase successful historic preservation practices and techniques.

Architecture of the Last Colony documents the most important extant buildings in the state of Georgia.

Richly illustrated with full-color, large-format photographs of these structures along with descriptions of their architectural significance, this book tells the story of how Georgia’s built environment reflects its growth from 1733 to the present.

All books purchased from the Georgia Trust will be signed by editor Mark C. McDonald.
