Race Day Information & Packet Pick-up

Course description

Beginning at Rhodes Hall, the race will travel through 3.1 miles of gently rolling hills in the beautiful historic neighborhoods of Ansley Park and Sherwood Forest. The race will circle around the manicured landscape of Ansley Park golf course before returning to Rhodes Hall for the finish. “Pet pit stops” will be located along the race route to provide dogs with drinking water and treats. Please note:  Dogs must be well behaved, leashed, and under their owner’s control at all times.

Race day parking

Limited free parking is available behind Rhodes Hall at 1495 Spring Street and at the adjoining Peachtree Christian Church lot. A pay parking deck is located at 1545-1555 Peachtree Street (Invesco Building), and they accept credit cards. Participants can also take MARTA to the Arts Center Station and walk to Rhodes Hall.

Packet pick-up & race day registration

Runners are encouraged to pick up their race packets on Friday, Oct. 26, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Rhodes Hall (1516 Peachtree Street, NW, Atlanta). Free parking is available behind Rhodes Hall at 1495 Spring Street, Atlanta. Registrants can also pick up their packets between 7:30-8:30 a.m. the morning of the race. Walk-up registrants are welcome on race day morning from 7:30-8:30 a.m. T-shirts will be given out after the race.

Bringing your pooch?

The course is stroller and dog friendly (just as long as your pooch is well-behaved, leashed, and under your control at all times). Baby strollers and dogs with their owners will have their own special start group. For runners with their four-legged friends, there will be a special “pet pit stop” on the course to provide dogs with drinking water. Please be responsible and pick up after your pooch.

After the race

After the race, stick around for a huge post-race party on the lawn of Rhodes Hall featuring delicious food, refreshing drinks and great music. All participants will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male/female finishers, top 3 male/female finishers in each age group, first participant with a stroller and first dog.
