Apprenticeship and Attitudes on Architecture: A Study of Architectural Education
Thursday, May 11
6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Rhodes Hall, Atlanta
1516 Peachtree St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30309

Join us for a lecture by 2020 J. Neel Reid scholar, Connor M. Bingham, an architect at Historical Concepts. Although his study travel was delayed by the pandemic, in 2022 Bingham was able to travel across America, France and Italy, studying several generations of apprentices and mentors. His travels were defined by the genealogical line tying Frank Lloyd Wright to Louis Sullivan to Joseph Auguste Émile Vaudremer to even more notable figures like Bramante, Bernini, and Michelangelo.
