Whitfield County, home to Dalton, and neighboring Murray County, which boasts Chatsworth, exude history at every turn. As you Ramble city sidewalks and mountain roads, you'll find rescued pieces of the prominent influences in this region's history: railroads, the Civil War, Cherokee Indians and the textile industry.
