Behind-the-Scenes Tours

Rhodes Hall, Atlanta

Rhodes is offering FREE Behind-the-Scenes Tours of Rhodes Hall every Saturday and Sunday during May in celebration of Historic Preservation Month. Rhodes Hall houses The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation offices and the ground floor is operated as a museum, showcasing its high-Victorian interior finishes. Tours begin every hour, on the hour. Last tour begins one hour before closing. Weekend hours are Saturday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Sunday: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Lecture by Roberta Brandes Gratz

Roberta Brandes Gratz is an award-winning journalist and urban critic, lecturer and author of “The Living City: How America's Cities are Being Revitalized by Thinking Small in a Big Way,” and “Cities Back from the Edge: New Life for Downtown.” She is an international lecturer on urban development issues and a former reporter for the New York Post. Gratz was appointed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg to the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in February 2003.
