Tour the first floor of the monumental 1904 granite castle and former home of furniture magnate Amos Rhodes, and view the fine woodwork, mosaic tile fireplaces, decorative finishes and art glass. Learn about Amos Rhodes, life in Atlanta at the turn of the century and the rich history of Rhodes Hall.

Tour length: 30 minutes
Museum is open Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Tours begin every hour on the hour.
Last tour begins one hour prior to closing.

The Historical Tour includes a look at
Rhodes Hall's famous painted glass windows,
which line its mahogany staircase.

 

The Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Rhodes Hall takes visitors through all four floors.

Behind-the-Scenes Tour

Rhodes Hall offers its popular behind-the-scenes tours every day. In addition to the first floor, the tour takes visitors to upper floors of the house not included on the regular guided tours. Explore Rhodes Hall in its entirety, including the former billiard room and gymnasium on the third floor of the "castle on Peachtree Street."

Tour length: 45 minutes.
Museum is open Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Tours begin every hour on the hour.
Last tour begins one hour before closing.

$7 per person. Groups of 10 or more: call for pricing.

Luncheon Tour

For $20 per person, a group can tour "the castle on Peachtree" and enjoy a gourmet boxed lunch from one of Atlanta's finest caterers. Groups of 10 or more people will receive a "behind-the-scenes" tour of Rhodes Hall, including the reception hall, parlor, dining room, den and library.

Continue to the second and rarely seen third-floor rooms in order to visit the former billiard room and gymnasium.
