CUPID AT THE CASTLE

Forecast calls for love and romance at Cupid at the Castle, February 14, 2013.

Fourteen couples can have the ceremony of their dreams for a fraction of the cost this Valentine's Day, February 14, 2013, at Rhodes Hall, Atlanta’s “Castle on Peachtree.”

Weddings, commitment ceremonies and vow renewals are all available. Rhodes Hall will provide a romantic setting for these brief, inexpensive ceremonies. Couples can opt to exchange vows under the magnificent granite arches of the front porch overlooking Peachtree Street, or in the gorgeous Victorian-style Reception Hall.

All ceremonies will include an officiant, professional photography services to capture the moments of your most memorable day, a champagne toast, wedding coordinator, ceremony music, and special wedding cupcakes. Mini receptions will be held in the ornate parlor of Rhodes Hall.

Appointment times are available between noon and 6:30 p.m., with couples saying “I do” every 30 minutes.  The cost per ceremony is a $500 donation. All proceeds will benefit The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.

Wedding ceremony couples are asked to bring a valid marriage license. A maximum of 35 guests is allowed. No refunds for booked ceremonies. Wonderful preferred vendors will be provided on your special day, so no outside vendors will be allowed.

Cupid is aiming his bow and arrow for The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation's "Cupid at the Castle" event on Valentine's Day 2013, and one lucky couple will be selected to say "I do" free of charge.

Email specialevents@georgiatrust.org explaining why you and your loved one want to say "I do" in a castle and you could be selected for one of the half-hour Valentine's Day time slots to have a fairy-tale wedding or vow renewal at Rhodes Hall, Atlanta's "castle on Peachtree."

Couples may invite up to 35 guests and Cupid will handle the rest. Cupid at the Castle provides a fully decorated, romantic setting for ceremonies with Victorian-style décor as well as a bouquet, a minister, music for the walk down the aisle, and champagne and cupcakes for the couple to make a toast afterward. A photographer will be available to capture the fairy-tale moments every step of the way.

The half hour ceremonies' regular price is $500 for each wedding and all proceeds from the event benefit The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. All wedding ceremony couples are asked to bring a valid marriage license.
