5th Annual Uptown Rhodes Race 5K

Beginning at Rhodes Hall, the race will travel through 3.1 miles of gently rolling hills in the beautiful historic neighborhoods of Ansley Park and Sherwood Forest. The race will circle around the manicured landscape of Ansley Park golf course before returning to Rhodes Hall for the finish. “Pet pit stops” will be located along the race route to provide dogs with drinking water and treats. Please note: Dogs must be well behaved, leashed, and under their owner’s control at all times.
After the race, stick around for a huge post-race party on the lawn of Rhodes Hall featuring mouthwatering barbecue from LowCountry Barbecue, delicious treats, refreshing drinks and great music. All participants will receive an award winning t-shirt and goodie bag sponsored by Big Peach Running Company. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male/female finishers, top 3 male/female finishers in each age group, first participant with a stroller and first dog
Race day parking
Limited free parking is available behind Rhodes Hall at 1495 Spring Street and at the adjoining Peachtree Christian church lot. A pay parking deck is located at 1545-1555 Peachtree Street (Invesco Building); there is a flat rate of $3, and they accept credit cards. Participants can also take MARTA to the Arts Center Station and walk to Rhodes Hall. Visit www.itsmarta.com for rail maps.
Packet Pick-up & Race day registration
Runners are encouraged to pick up their race packets on Friday, Nov. 9, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Rhodes Hall (1516 Peachtree Street, NW Atlanta). Drive-through pick-up will be available in the Rhodes Hall parking lot at 1495 Spring Street from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9. Registrants can also pick up their packets between 7:30-8:30 a.m. the morning of the race. Walk-up registrants are welcome on race day morning from 7:30-8:30 a.m. T-shirts will be given out after the race.

Bringing your pooch?
The course is stroller and dog friendly (just as long as your pooch is well-behaved, leashed, and under your control at all times). There will be pet pit stops along the course. Please be responsible and pick up after your pooch; doggie bags will be available. Participants with pets must start at the back of the group.
Bring your friends
Help us spread the word about the Race! Online registration will be available at active.com until 3 p.m. on Friday, November 9, and walk-up participants are welcome to register on race day morning. So ask a friend or two to join the fun! It's a beautiful course, there's great food and raffle prizes, and it's for a good cause!
