Other
Educational Programs for Students and Teachers
Especially for homeschool students:
Hay
House also has developed an initiative to meet the
special requirements of homeschool students. All
of the existing Hay House school programs are
offered to homeschoolers in one-day events
throughout the year. In addition, Archi-Tech-Tive,
a special program for homeschoolers, combines an
interactive tour of Hay House with hands-on
activities designed to highlight architectural
features of the house and to focus students’
attention on 19th century technology
from simple machines to more complicated plumbing
and heating systems. During the winter a
four-session mini-institute, Civil
War Life and Times, is offered for
homeschoolers. Check the Hay House events calendar
for dates and times.
