Held in a different city each year, the event includes tours through the host city and cocktail and dinner events, as well as an Annual Meeting and Preservation Awards.

On Friday night, the Preservation Awards ceremony recognizes outstanding projects and individuals in the field of preservation. Three scholarships are also presented to students in areas related to historic preservation. During the Saturday morning Annual Meeting, the Trust updates members on preservation accomplishments in Georgia and provides an overview of the history of the host city.
