Program: Large Collections Storage

Supervisor: Sr. Director of Properties

Length: One semester/20hrs/wk

Position:  Through an IMLS grant, the house has established a design for collections storage in one of their period rooms on the third floor of the house. The intern will review literature, pick out shelving and assist/coordinate the assembly of the storage system. Student must be comfortable with power tools and be willing to coordinate moving large items in a storage area.

This internship offers compensation and the opportunity for school credit. In school-credit instances, the onus lies with the student to instigate the process. The Georgia Trust provides free and ample parking.
